Four Findings

Ranked by observable priority. Each finding includes the evidence Nebula used - no opinion, no estimation. Priority scores are rule-based heuristics for fix order, not predicted conversion loss.

Finding 1

Page Payload

Priority 2.5/10Major Project

HTML payload is 1,560.7 KiB - 13x the 120KB heuristic and the heaviest in our dataset. HTML this large delays parse and first paint for every visitor and inflates crawl cost on every fetch.

Evidence

Fetched HTML payload: 1560.7 KiB. Heuristic max: ~120 KiB. Snapshot timestamp: 2026-08-05T09:40Z.

Recommended Fix

Split server-rendered blocks aggressively; stream above-fold HTML first and defer everything below. Move inline JSON state to lazy API calls. Target Lighthouse mobile >= 70.

Finding 2

H1 / Title Misalignment

Priority 2/10Quick Win

H1 and title have weak keyword overlap - "intelligent canvas" (H1) vs "collaborative canvas" (title). The rebrand transition is visible in the source: two product narratives on one page.

Evidence

title: "Figma: The collaborative canvas for design, code, " (56 chars) | meta desc: 164 chars | h1: "The intelligent canvas for infinite creativity" | h1 count: 1. Snapshot timestamp: 2026-08-05T09:40Z.

Recommended Fix

Align H1 and title on one shared keyword. If "intelligent canvas" is the new positioning, the title should carry it.

Finding 3

Above-Fold Source Proxy

Priority 2.5/10Quick Win

Early source proxy has a headline but no clickable control in the first 3,000 characters.

Evidence

Early HTML proxy missing: H1 headline, primary CTA, price/offer signal together in first 3,000 source chars. Snapshot timestamp: 2026-08-05T09:40Z.

Recommended Fix

Ensure the first 3,000 source characters contain H1 + primary CTA + value signal.

Finding 4

Ad Tracking Not Observed in Static Source

Priority 3/10Major Project

Only a UTM-bearing link was observed; no GA4 initializer or measurement ID, no explicit conversion call in the static source.

Evidence

Static artifacts found: UTM-bearing link. Not observed: Facebook Pixel initializer, GA4 initializer or measurement ID, explicit conversion call. Snapshot timestamp: 2026-08-05T09:40Z.

Recommended Fix

Run consent-aware network validation; confirm the signup conversion event path fires.

What This Demonstrates

Figma is mid-rebrand from "collaborative design tool" to "intelligent canvas" - and the homepage source shows the seam. The title says "collaborative canvas for design, code"; the H1 says "intelligent canvas for infinite creativity". Weak keyword overlap between the two most-weighted on-page signals. But the headline finding is the payload: 1,560.7 KiB of HTML - the heaviest page in our teardown dataset - served before a single image loads. Every first-time visitor, paid or organic, parses 1.6MB of markup to reach first paint. The engine scores it 7.0/B.
